有見時裝及紡織業可持續發展和綠色製造為大勢所趨，國際可持續發展學院 發起了一個名為「可持續發展之路 本地時裝及紡織業的可持續發展研究」的項目，由香港特別行政區政府工業貿易署「工商機構支援基金」撥款資助生產力 局擔任執行 機構 就 香港時裝及紡織業的可持續發展進行研究。

是次項目始於 2022 年，項目成員透過桌面研究、問卷調查和訪問 ，就香港時裝及紡織業在綠色製造 方面的發展進行 了為期一年的深入研究。藉著是次研究項目 國際可持續發展學院 希望 可以幫助香港時裝及紡織企業了解其與其他地區在綠色製造進程的差異，並喚起從業人員對可持續發展和綠色製造重要趨勢的關注，增進他們綠色製造管理方面的認知 。

為了向業界分享努力研究的成果，國際可持續發展學院將會於 5 月 9 日舉辦研討會以首次發佈研究結果。
